Getting Your Google Adsense Account Approved

Registering for Google Adsense is easy but getting your account approved by Google might be a major problem for quite a number of people. Before your account is activated and you're allowed to display google ads on your site, google first visits your site to check if it complies with their terms of service.

This is where some new bloggers fail and decide to give up. Many new bloggers often get disappointed when their registration for adsense gets declined for one reason or the other. In order to get your account approved, follow these guidelines:

1. Your site must not still be under construction

2. You must have enough pages. You will never get approved if your blog has only a couple of pages.

3. You must have a reasonable traffic.

4. Your blog must comply with Google's Terms of service. Any illegal stuff must not be featured on your site. In short, read and adhere to their terms of servise.

5. Give your blog about a month to grow before signing up for adsense.

6. After signing up and waiting for verification, make sure your blog is always accessible and in a good shape.

7. Keep making new and interesting posts while waiting.

8. Do not go and register another account for the same blog out of impatience. Sometimes it up to takes two weeks before your blog/site is approved for displaying google ads.

9. Also make sure you do not already have an approved account already. Duplicate account is not allowed.

10. Keep checking your email then hope and pray. lol

By following these guidelines, I'm pretty sure your google adsense account will be approved. In case your site gets declined, check the mail sent to you. The reason should be clearly stated, simply work on this and make all necessary adjustments then start all over again. Getting your site approved is no big deal if you can play the game the way they want!

just of recent, google stopped accepting blogspot sud-domains into the adsense program. You can either get a top level domain or use hubpages. I'll post the solution to the problem later today.

hey i checked out your blog.as a visitor ur blog seemed very boring to me.it seems like a cold attempt to earn money only. maybe thats why ur application was rejected.u need to provide something that other sites do not provide and at the same time something interesting to keep the reader engaged and interested.

i also have been hearing things that google doesnt accept blogspot and if i recall correctly they actually put it in their policy that subdomains are not allowed but now it is not there anymore and blogger domains are allowed.i guess they changed their policy again to allow blogspot but on dark side they reject/discourage blogsopt applications by giving several of excuses.
they are so very clever...they took blogspot ban out of their policy so that people will submit applications and they will then only choose high quality blogs.in other words they want high quality blogs only but are afraid to say it in open because of their "dont be evil" thing.they forget that people are not dumb they will eventually figure out things by themselves and which will only prove to severly tarnish google's angelic image!
google-u should lay out clear policy in this regard-either blogspot is allowed in adsense or not allowed period.and if u want only high quality blogs then do your homework and lay out quality standards for us to be met.theres no harm in doing that.just dont make our struggles go to waste ok.

Don Caprio says:

@M. Yasir. Eddy said it all. Google stopped approving blogspot subdomains for a while but it seems they're now approving adsense ads on these sub domains again. u ought to have a high quality content though but I still maintain getting a custom domain can be a plus.
@Anonymous. be sure to enter your phone number in the right format during verification. replace the first zero (0) with +234 and you should get the verification call

You have made some really good points there. I looked on the web for additional information about the issue and found most people will go along with your views on this website.
