Numbered Page Navigation For Blogspot/Blogger

By default blogspot sites only show "older posts" and "newer posts" links at the bottom of every page which is useful to help your visitors find out about your other blog posts. The only problem is that these links might not be noticed sometimes and this gives your blog less pageviews.

Having a numbered page navigation increases your pageviews by allowing your visitors to discover even your oldest posts easily.

Follow this step to add numbered page navigation to your blog:

1. Before doing performing this blog hack, you are advised to back up your template in case something goes wrong.

2. Sign into your Blogger account » Settings » Formatting. From here you can choose the number of posts you want to appear on the homepage. Five is ok but it depends on your choice.



3. Go to Design » Edit html » Check "expand widget templates" box. Press CTRL + F and search for </body>

4. Just above that, paste this code:

5. In the code above, you may edit the number shown in red according to step 2. This means the number shown in red in the above code must be equal the the number you set in step 2.

6. Control + F and search for all the occurrences of this code

'data:label.url'

Now replace them all with

'data:label.url + &quot;?&amp;max-results=5&quot;'

Note that you should have more than up to three or four 'data:label.url' in your template and you must replace them all. Also note that the number highlighted in red in the above code must be equal to the number used in step 2 and step 4.

7. Now here comes the last part. Press CTRL + F and search for
