Google Adsense Approval Trick Through Third Party Sites?

Quite a lot of new bloggers still find it difficult getting their google adsense account approved due to one reason or the other. Lots of people get desperate typing search queries in google such as google adsense approval trick, 24hrs google adsense approval and so on. Lots of people even paid some individuals in a bid to buy an already approved google adsense account. It's undisputed that google adsense remains the easiest way to monetize a blog and for this reason, there's so much clamor just to get an approval from google. In recent times, google adsense team even tightens up the approval thingy by making it a two-stage process.

Just of recent, thousands of publishers were banned from the adsense program and lots of hopes were dashed. Some of my friends in bloggers lab on facebook were affected by the massive ban. Relating closely with some of them made me realize most of the banned accounts were approved through third party sites. You can apply through some third party sites and get your google adsense account approved but I never wrote about any of these sites once. I'm quite aware of them but i never considered them a good option because it all looks shady. Some of these sites include:

1. Fixya
2. Hubpages
3. Docstoc
4. Indyarocks

They are all independent publishing platforms where you can get your google adsense account approved in 24 hours, or even less, and I'm not implying that all accounts approved through third party sites always get banned eventually, I'm only saying it's not such a good idea getting your adsense approved via third party sites. The adsense team always review sites from time to time and any discrepancy might make your already approved account get suspended.

To get your blog approved by google directly, you can follow these guidelines:

1. Give your blog some time to grow, I suggest three months and be sure you have a decent traffic. A couple of hundred pageviews daily gives you a better chance

2. If you're on blogspot, you have a better chance of getting approved with a custom domain but that doesn't mean you won't get approved with a blogspot sub domain either.

3. You should have up to 20-30 original posts/pages. Copying contents from other blogs won't get you anywhere.

4. Your design also matters. Be sure your blog's is designed in a way to make it look attractive. A blog with poorly arranged widgets scattered everywhere doesn't stand much chance.

5. I suggest you shouldn't have ads from other advertising companies like bidvertiser or chikita running on your blog when google comes to certify your blog. It's only a suggested precaution though.

6. Be sure your blog complies with google's terms of service. Your blog posts must not be based on topics not allowed by google such as, hacking, pornography, drugs, ammunition, warez, cracks, keygens and so on.

With the tips above taken into practice, I'm sure your adsense account will be approved and in case they reject your application, you can always try again. I know those who applied up to five times before getting approved. Good luck!

Alternative Ways To Make Money With Your Blog Apart From Google Adsense

Lots of people got their google adsense account suspended in the last couple of weeks due to reasons best known to google and google alone. Most of these people claimed they did nothing wrong and stuck to the rules and just wondered why google went on a banning spree without taking anyone's feeling into consideration. Taking a closer look, I found out most of these suspended accounts were opened in the last two to three months and some through fixya. Most of these people got an email saying they their adsense account had to be disabled so as to protect advertisers and this type of email is often related to click fraud. Some of these people haven't even earned any reasonable amount yet and I know a couple of the victims who couldn't have done anything of such. That actually got me wondering what actually went wrong. It's not surprising though because I got my google admob suspended about two months ago despite sticking to the rules for two whole years. The main reason behind that was because Google Admob was moving over to Google Adsense for mobile and many publishers like me got their accounts suspended without a valid reason.

It's even more baffling that some of those who got their account suspended re-applied using the same email and same blog and got re-enrolled into the adsense program. This raises the question whether most of those suspended account happened by mistake or something.

Google adsense
is one of the easiest way to monetize your blog but it's definitely not the only way. There are alternatives to google adsense to make money from your blog.

1. Using alternative advertisers:

There are many other advertising companies out there like google adsense. The simple truth is just that I don't think they pay as much as google adsense does. These other advertisers too also offer contexual ads like google adsense and you might want to try them out. Some of the top rated include:

i. Bidvertiser
ii. Chitika
iii. Adbrite
iv. Clicksor
v. Kontera
vi. Infolinks
vii. Pocket Cents
viii. Exit juction
ix. Dynamic oxygen
x. Adbull

Some of these are also as good as google adsense and you can get a even more detailed information about each of them here.

2. Selling Advertising Spaces On Your Blog:

You might not realize it but some of your visitors are actually in love with your site and wouldn't mind advertising their product with you. Selling advertising spaces on your blog is one of the easiest way to convert your traffic to dollars without doing much. All you need to do is to let your visitors know you sell advertising spaces and you will get good offers especially if you command a reasonable amount of traffic and you've already worked on your page rank. Create an advertising page and let create awareness by making advertising banners visible in good positions.

3. Affiliate Marketing Programs

With affiliate programs, you can make even more than you can ever make from google adsense but this depends largely on the category of vistors you get. An affiliate program such as the hostgator affilitate program can fetch you up to $2000 in a month. There are other affiliate programs you can use on your blog. If you're on blogger, click on the monetize tab and sign up for an amazon associate account. With this, you can receive a commision for every product sold on your site.

4. Selling E-books

I'm pretty sure you have a clear idea on what you blog about, right? Have you ever thought that gathering your ideas into a .pdf file can be a major source of income? Most of your blog visitors believe in you and that's the reason they comment on your posts, subscribe to your rss feed and share your articles. Offering them a comprehensive e-book for some amount can be just another way to make money from your blog.

5. Sponsored Posts

I was surprised the first day I got an email from someone asking me to write a blog post about their product and I would be compensated. I actually didn't know writing a sponsored post could be a way to monetize my blog until that day. I wrote the post since it fell into my blog's niche and had some dollars flowing into my paypal account. Writing sponsored post can be another major way to monetize your blog traffic and you should create awareness about this. Let your visitors know you can write for them but you have have developed your writing skills to a certain level before getting this kind of offer. Your traffic too must be reasonably too.

6. Donations

If you're having a site that dishes out free information that's extremely helpful, a couple of your visitors might be willing to donate some money to you through paypal. Although most people wouldn't do this, I still believe one or two people would deem it fit to reward your for your hard work.

7. Consultation And Other Related Services

Depending on your niche, you can offer consultation to your visitors. This can be personal but you have to make it clear that you can be consulted personally to solve their problems for a fee. I guess you can see a Hire Me link at the header of this blog.

8. Selling Your Blog

As a last option, you can sell your blog.

There are other ways to make money from your blog and each of the list there can be expanded. Google adsense is still the easiest and in case your account got suspended, there are ways to get back in the program. This will discussed in one of my future posts.

Make Money Online With Hostgator Affiliate Program

Hostgator has turned out to be one of the most successful webhosting company over the years with so many features hard to find on other webhosts. Hostgator was established in the year 2002 with its headquater in Houston, Texas but it's service has touched almost every continent with clients in over 200 countries. Last time I checked their statistics, they're hosting over five million domains! They have a reasonably cheap but reliable webhosting service, my web forum is hosted with them and I haven't experienced a major downtime since. All their hosting plans comes with unlimited bandwidth and disk space.

Hostgator has an affiliate program of which I've been a beneficiary and I thought posting this easy way to make money online isn't such a bad idea. With hostgator affiliate program, the only thing you need to do is to refer clients and get paid. You don't even need to have a hosting account before you're qualified to open an affiliate account. Depending on how many clients you can refer to them, you can make over $2000 in just one month. There's no minimum payout as you're paid whatever you earn every month and membership is absolutely free.

Based on how many hosting accounts sold through your affiliate link, you can earn between $50 to $125 per sign up. The details are shown in the table below:

1-5 per month ————— $50 /signup
6-10 per month ————— $75 /signup
11-20 per month ————— $100 /signup
21+ per month ————— $125 /signup

How Do I Sign Up To make Money Online With Hostgator?

Signing up is easy and there's nothing needed except a couple of personal details and your email address. You need to verify your email and your account is activated. Like I said earlier, you don't need to have a hosting account before you can sign up. Click here to sign up.

How Do I promote My Affiliate Link?

Promoting your affiliate link is easy whether you have a website or not. If you own a blog, you can use one of the banners provided here. It's even easier if you're a webmaster as you can make some extra money off your clients. You only need to buy their hosting account through your affiliate link. You can as well promote your affiliate link through web forums with having webhosting as an area of interest though spamming isn't advised. You can as well promote your affiliate link through facebook advert though I don't think this is in line with their terms of service. Making money with hostgator is made quite easy, click here to sign up.

Fund And Withdraw Paypal Funds Easily In Nigeria

Carrying out some online transactions without a paypal account is almost impossible since it turned out to be the most widely used form of online payment solution over the years. Paypal is not supported in Nigeria and you have to go through certain steps just to open and verify a paypal account as a Nigerian and I made a post earlier on that. Despite getting a paypal account through the backdoor, withdrawing your money earned online and funding it to facilitate your online transactions and purchase items remains a problem to most people. There are lots of Nigerian internet marketers parading themselves as paypal gurus but you'll definitely think twice if you happen to witness a scam. I'm not saying everyone of them is not trustworthy, there are some I've even done business with in the past without regret but I only need to emphasize the fact that there's still that slight possibility of getting scammed trying to fund and withdraw from your paypal account in Nigeria through a total stranger you only know on the internet.

With the increasing demand of paypal funds and means of withdrawal, Nigeriagoldexchange and OnlineNaira resolved this issues with the service they offer.

NigeriaGoldExchange.com
I knew this site way back in 2009 when I needed to fund my Liberty Reserve account. They've been funding liberty reserve accounts since and they recently started funding paypal too. The last time I checked, they sell a dollar for 195 Naira. They also buy and sell alertpay and webmoney funds as well.

OnlineNaira.com
I came across onlinenaira recently through a friend and they offer an excellent service too. It's very easy withdrawing your paypal funds as you 're allowed to even get your payment through liberty reserve. You can fund and withdraw from your payapl account through your Nigerian bank account. They require you to verify your identity though before you can use their service and the steps include submitting a scanned copy of your recent utility bill and a goverment issued identity card.

Google Adsense For Content Now Displays on Opera Mini and Other Mobile Browsers

I was suprised this morning when I logged into my mobile site through Opera Mini to see Google Ads for content meant to display to PC users showing on Opera Mini. I also checked here just to find the same thing.

Before, the only mobile browser I knew that could render adsense for content fully is Bolt Browser which is also a java based browser like Opera Mini but with a more desktop-like browsing experience.

It's rather a good news that Google Adsense for content which is javascript based now displays on mobile browsers like Opera Mini. There are lots of visitors using mobile devices and this definitely means increased CTR.

I hope this javascript based ads will also be extended to Adsense for mobile since javascript based mobile ads is only presently availabe for iphones and other high end Android smartphones.

UPDATE - 28th June, 2011

Google has since disable this. The ads stopped showing on opera mini barely ten days after this post was made. Perhaps they realized there was increased CTR which means they were going to pay more than they usually do. lol.

Google Adsense For Mobile Now Available in Nigeria and 14 Other Countries

Google Adsense for mobile is now avaailable in Nigeria and fourteen other countries according to google adsense official blog yesterday. These countries include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Slovenia, Thailand, and Turkey.

In case you are new to google adsense for mobile, this more or less like adsense for content. Google displays ads relevant to site's content but in this case, mobile sites. You earn some money when a valid click is made on the displayed advert.
Google adsense for mobile will definitely be useful especially if you've read my previous post on how to make money online with your mobile phone. Adsense for mobile automatically detects phone type and delivers ads specific to that particular type of phone.

Google, however, stipulates that adsense for mobile may be used on mobile websites only and not in mobile applications. Application developers are expected to use Google Admob (which google acquired last year). Admob is also a mobile advertisement platform which I've been using on my mobile site for close to two years.

Paid Surveys - Are They All Scams?

I used to hunt the internet for survey sites looking where to sign up and make easy money online. I would spend hours taking surveys, struggling to qualify, lying about what I have and what I don't just to get paid. Some pay, some don't and some make you go through hell before giving you a cent. It got to a stage that I totally got tired and decided to ditch those survey thingy and face google adsense alone.

Survey sites tell you how will earn money from sitting back on your couch filling out surveys. However they fail to mention the small but important details like qualifying for surveys, filling them out immediately and most importantly, the fact that many don’t offer cash prizes.
At this point I don't want you to get it all wrong. I've got paid by one or two survey sites through paypal but it takes a whole lot of commitment to get anything out of online paid surveys. There are certainly reputable survey sites that pay decently but I just stopped paid surveys due to time constraints. I'm not here to discourage you, it's just to give you my honest view and buttress the fact that you should be careful with paid surveys.

Now, talking of paid survey sites where you are asked to pay a certain amount of money before getting a particular survey, based on my own experience and research online, a huge number of them are scams because they are charging you for information that you can easily find yourself for free if you just take the time to search a little on the internet.

Typically survey takers only generate $30.00-$300.00 a month and that is only after signing up with over 40 different survey programs. The $300.00 a month survey takers have been at it for a long time and qualify for many different types of surveys, and panels.

There are qualified programs on the internet that do teach methods and are not very expensive, but surveys is one that is being exploited by many.

There are surveys that you do not want to sign up for that are commonly on the paid lists. These types of surveys are not really free. They often require you to purchase an item or sign up for a membership before you can get rewarded for taking the survey, or before you are even allowed to take the survey. My best advice. Stay away from these types of survey programs.

Legitimate free paid survey companies never ask for a credit card or ask you to complete an offer before you can receive your earnings. Some free paid survey lists do include offer sites and do result in their users getting email offerings.

I'll definitely explain steps to follow before signing up for any online survey in one of my next posts.

Making Money Online With Liberty Reserve

Did you know you can make money online easily with just a liberty reserve account and nothing more? There are several referral programs online but I hardly go for them because in most cases, you never get paid. Liberty Reserve definitely has a name to protect and wouldn't dare get involved in some kind of shady referral scheme just to get more users.

If you're new to liberty reserve, it's also an online payment solution like paypal, alertpay and the rest of them. You can read my beginner's guide on how to use liberty reserve here.
Every liberty Reserve account holder is qualified for this referral program as there is no exception. There are just about few conditions attached though:

* You must have $10 in your account to be a referrer.
* You must post your referrer link on any online page (web site, blog, forum, email account, etc.) Direct referral links entered in a browser will not work.
* Referrers that generate a lot of fake accounts will be frozen. Warn your friends and clients not to open fake accounts.
* You must not pay people for signing up under you.

Referred Member Referrer
$0.05 for being referred $0.25 for every member you refer

As shown in the table above, you get $0.25 for everyone that signs up through you. Also, the person you refer gets $0.5. Now, assuming, you manage to refer just a thousand people, you get $250 which is very close to 40,000 Naira.

If you already have a liberty reserve account, check this page to read more about the referral program but if you're totally new to it, open a free account now!

Your referral link should look like http://www.libertyreserve.com/?ref=U5386220 where U5386220 is substituted with your own Liberty Reserve account number.

Getting people to refer isn't that hard:

1. You can tell your friends on facebook
2. You can post in forums and inform people about it
3. A banner or link on your site or a friend's site too will definitely help.

How to Avoid HYIP Scams

We all love to make money online but there are risks also. High Yield Investment Program (HYIP) is one of the fastest way to make money online but sadly, it's also one of the fastest way to lose money online. If you're new to HYIP, try reading my previous post which gives an insight on what High Yield Investment Program is all about.

Quite a lot of people have asked me to give them a High Yield Investment Program site thay pays well but I simply can't. It wouldn't speak well of me giving you a site that pays you today and turns out tomorrow to be a big scam. It's rather better showing you how to know the real ones from the fakes but the difference might just be too hard to tell at times.

However, there are basic things to look out for when investing in a HYIP site:

1. You must be aware that a new program might turn out to be a scam as there are no testimonies yet. This doesn't imply that all new high yield investment programs are unreliable, I'm only trying to say that older ones with a good record are always better.

2. Take time to run some little research on the site you're about to invest on. You should take your time to check whois record for the domain, when it's about to expire and so on.

3. Don't be too greedy! Investing in HYIP that promises 500% interest in ten days is most likely to be a scam. Try to use the power of your mind to discern what is real from a purely fake scheme to get a big chunk out of your hard earned money.

4. Diversification - the concept of spreading the money over a number of different investments or investment programs in order to reduce risk. It's the idea that one shouldn't put all of your eggs in one basket. Diversification is a good way to reduce your risk exposure to the market.

5. The most important rule is to always monitor your HYIP. There are several sites that does thin on the interent where scam HYIP programs are reported and blacklisted. You also get to know the status of your HYIP whether they are paying or not and how log they've been in business. Such HYIP monitors include:

-hyip.com
-hyipexplorer.com
-hyipdata.com
-hyiprogram.com
-hyipmonitor.com

There are other hyip monitors as well where you can get fairly accurate ststistics about the HYIP you're investing into.

6. The last rule is to follow your instincts, if you know you've got a good one.

Invest wisely!

Fastest Way to Get Google Adsense Approval For Blogspot Sites

It's no longer news that google is now very reluctant to allow blogspot sites into it's adsense program. A huge number of new bloggers get their google adsense application declined due to one reason or the other. The most common reason for declining their application is oftem some "page type" stuff and are denied their chance of making money online with google adsense.

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google
AdSense at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

Issues:

- Page type

Further detail:

Page type: Your website is a type of website that we do not currently
accept into our program. Such websites include, but are not limited...

A friend of mine trying to apply for google adsense account using his blogspot blog got declined like five times with the above reason stated each time. It was kind of frustrating because the blog looked quite okay and filled with original content he took time to write up himself. I then advised him to get a custom domain name which he finally did. The next time he applied, his google adsense account was approved and it came just like a surprise to him though I knew already what the problem was.
You google adsense account my be declined a thousand times over and over again until you get a custom domain which isn't that expensive anyway. It doesn't matter whether you have a paypal account or not as I've already talked about a reliable domain registrar that accepts other eletronic payments such as liberty reserve, alertpay and others. You can a well find a reseller in your country that accepts your local currency by running a google search.

It seems like it's the only sure way to get google adsense running on blogspot sites for now. Making money online sometimes needs investment and I think investing on a domain name to get your google adsense application approved is a wise step. It comes along with other advantages as well.

Is Google Adsense Even Real?

It sounds rather unbelievable that there are still a number of people out there who believe google adsense doesn't work. Some believe it's just another "get-rich-quick-scheme" advertised by those "liars" called internet marketers. Some even believe only the so-called "internet gurus" can make this "adsense thingy" work.

Some encase their knowledge of google adsense in myths and conclude they can never go into it, losing the guaranteed opportunity of ever making some money online. I recently had a conversation with a friend who was kind of skeptic about any online business. He showed the same skeptic attitude when I introduced blogging and adsense to him and that is what actually triggered this blog post.
Google Adsense isn't just another hype if that's what you have in mind, it's definitely real. I started blogging only recently, late 2009 to be precise and I've been into this adsense business since. I heard about it in 2008 but I wasn't a believer like you back then, I though it was "one of those internet scam stuffs." The basic truth is that it works unlike other online businesses like High Yield Investment Programs with only a fifty-fifty chance of success.

It will never work though if you do not believe in it, if you do not take it as a real serious business. Newbies often rush in and quit in no time because they can not earn $100 in the first month...some try different ways to cheat google adsense and earn more. It surely doesn't work that way.

It takes a lot of commitment and patience. I got my first cheque after almost a year I took blogging with google adsense as an online business. The good thing about google adsense is that you do not need to invest a cent before you get paid. All that is required of you is a blog with a reasonable traffic. Getting your own blog too is free...you might need to invest in getting a domain name though if you're keen on that.

Getting your adsense account approved might be quite a hurdle some new bloggers find hard to scale due to lack of right information and some get their account banned within a short period of time. Google Adsense is just like any other business, you must do the required research and get full knowledge about it before venturing in to it else it's going to be another failed attempt at generating some online income.

High Yield Investment Programs (HYIPs) - Do They Really Pay?

Like I always say, I have a phobia for high yield investment programs. My fear isn't just born out of ignorance or stupidity, it's from an experience that left me in a pretty bad shape. I'll break it down simple and plain: I GOT SCAMMED!

Are you new to HYIPs? Wondering what it's all about?

"A high-yield investment program (HYIP) is a type of Ponzi scheme, which is an investment scam that promises an unsustainably high return on investment by paying previous investors with the money invested by newcomers.

Operators generally set up a website offering an "investment program" promising returns as high as 45% per month or 6% a day, disclosing little or no detail about the underlying management, location, or other aspects of how money is to be invested."

-Wikipedia

There are so many HYIP sites online where you invest a little amount of money and they swear on their grand ma's grave to pay you back an unbelievable percentage after a short period of time, sometimes as high as 50%. Sounds good, huh?

Now don't get it twisted, the fact that I got scammed doesn't imply that all HYIPs are scams or there's absolutely nothing good about them. What I'm only trying to point out is that some are real and others are simply put up to get a big chunk out of your hard earned cash. I was a victim.

I know of people who are making money online through High Yield Investment Programs and I made some dollars to my Liberty Reserve account before I got "busted." I even know of some friends who got scammed a couple of times but still continue in the business anyway. They will only tell you every business has its own risk.

You've only got to be careful, I mean extra careful when investing in HYIPs. There are certain precautions you ought to take when investing and I'll lay this out in one of my next posts. It's a different subject on it's own...sounds rather sad, but you might learn from the mistakes that got me scammed.

Make Money Uploading Files

Hotfile.com is just like all other file sharing sites where people from all over upload files and everyone download them freely, but this particular file sharing site's affiliate program makes it interesting.

Registration only takes a couple of minutes. After registration, you must validate your email address and you can start uploading files right away. Are you worried about uploading with your slow connection? It doesn't really matter as there is an option for remote upload where you will only have to get the direct download link of the file you want to upload from another site (like sharemobile.ro)
You are paid depending on the number of downloads you get for your uploaded files. So you have to promote your file links on your blog/site or in forums. All you need to do is get people to download the files and you get paid for it. Payment is usually by paypal and Webmoney. The minimum payout is $15 and the more the size of your uploaded file and download count, the quicker you reach this payout.

To reach the payout a lot more quicker, here's a simple trick: upload large files over 100MB and if you're on a slow connection, you don't need to have the files actually on yor hard drive, remote uploading (URL uploading) saves you a whole lot of trouble. Simply hunt for the direct link of the file and you're good to go.

There's also a referral program going on and you might find it interesting cuz it actually works, else, I wont be here talking about it.

Why not sign up and give it a shot?

Google Adsense Approval Tips for Blogspot Blogs

Till only few months back, getting an approved google adsense account was relatively easy for bloggers publishing under blogspot sud-domains compared to the situation on ground now. Google now has a more strict policy about adsense account approval.

There's now a tendency to approve basically sites using top level domains. As good as this may sound to some people, it's actually a heartbreak for new bloggers who actually hope to make an income from google adsense.
I've received quite a number of complaints from some bloggers about this general problem and I guess I should address it in this post.

No matter how hard the policy may seem, there's still an easy way out and you can still get that adsense account approved.

Earlier when Google launched the adsense program, blogspot used to be the best way to get an adsense account, but now because of huge demand of Adsense , Google is not entertaining adsense account from blogSpot sub-domains easily.

I always encourage bloggers to publish under a custom domain. I recently had a conversation with a new blogger and was scared to purchase a custom domain because he thinks it's rather costly and can't be done without a paypal account. It doesn't matter whether you have a paypal account or not, you can still purchase a domain name at low cost and pay in your country's currency and even Naira if you're a Nigerian. It's all about using liberty reserve which is an even easier and more convenient way of purchasing a domain name. Publishing your blog under a custom domain will help a long way in getting your google adsense account verified easily.

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after

The above message is one of the most common disapproval messages google sends to bloggers applying for adsense.

You have to bear in mind that your blog must not just be a couple of weeks old when applying, you might wanna give it about 3 months to get indexed by google and already have at least 20 blog posts.

There is also a little trick and that is getting your verified google adsense account via hubpages.com

After registering for hubpages, create your own hub, register for google adsense through them and get verified. All you have to do after this is to quit the revenue sharing program they offer ( if you actually want to quit, that is), and use your adsense publisher code on your blog.

I still maintain that getting a custom domain name is the better option as it is rather fast, simple and straight forward.

If you get rejected, don't ever let that get you down. Google is only telling you to play the game the way they want!

Making Money With Your Mobile Phone

You sure do need to have a computer or have a constant access to one before you can think of blogging but if you're the type that's stuck on your mobile phone most of the time, you can still generate some online income with that mobile phone.

Trying to generate some income online with a mobile phone might not be as lucrative as blogging to some people (it doesn't even fetch that much unless you can drive enough traffic to your mobile site) but it's definitely worth giving a try. There is definitely no harm in having a few dollars stream into your paypal account every month, right?

Now, here's the catch: you must have a mobile site. You don't need to pay a dime or buy some costly hosting plan to get one. For starters, you can go through my guide on free WAP hosts you can use to create your free mobile site. You can decide to build a mobile community, a mobile download site, a site with awesome services, you might even decide to combine all this in a single site to make it really spectacular!

You might be wondering how you can make any money from all these things you're giving out to people for free...creating a place for people to meet new friends and uploading stuffs for people to download all for free? All you need to do is run some little advert on your mobile site and you get paid for all your effort.

Now this mobile advertising program is just like the google adsense program I explained earlier. You need to sign up with any of the mobile advertising networks I'm gonna list below, get your ad code, paste it on your site and you start earning from valid clicks. Google adsense rules also applies here: never click your own ads and no dubious tricks!
Now, below are some mobile advertising network you can partner with to generate some money on your mobile site:

1. Admob This is one of the largest and most successful mobile advertising networks and it's what I personally use on my mobile site.

It was acquired by Google of recent. The minimum payout is $20 either by paypal or cheque.

2. Inmobi: InMobi is the world’s largest independent global mobile advertising network. InMobi provides advertisers, developers, and publishers with a uniquely global mobile advertising solution.

InMobi delivers the unprecedented ability to reach 185 million consumers in over 115 countries through over 20 billion mobile ad impressions monthly.
The minimum payout for publishers is $25.

3. Mojiva: Mojiva provides products and solutions that not only fuel the mobile advertising marketplace by bringing mobile ad buyers together with mobile content sellers, but that also solve unique challenges in the mobile marketing space. Solutions include tools to market your products and services to mobile users, monetize your mobile content, enable your global ad sales team to capitalize on an expanded media mix, control your inventory, or mobilize the brands your agency is working with.

The only problem some publishers might have with mojiva is the fact that they do not allow common email providers like yahoomail and gmail during registration. The payout too is rather high, it was $100 the last time I checked.

4. Buzzcity: BuzzCity is a mobile media company offering brand owners and agencies access to a global advertising network on the mobile internet. The network is made up of publishers from across the world and BuzzCity’s own mobile media properties.

As a leading international player, BuzzCity has developed in-depth knowledge of the mobile consumer and provides marketers with clear opportunities to reach this audience via its advertising and publisher programmes.

5. Adultmoda: Adultmoda is the leading company in terms of mobile ads targeted at +18 audience.

If you're a publisher willing to have pornographic ads on your mobile site, I think you should check them out.

How To Withdraw Paypal Funds In Nigeria

Most paypal users in Nigeria are faced with the problem of withdrawing their paypal funds. The problem is complicated by Nigeria not being on Paypal's supported countries list due to reasons best known to paypal. It's getting rather hard to run serious online business these days without a paypal account but easily withdrawing the dollars is even a bigger problem.

Minute-exchange.com was the real deal when it came to converting paypal funds to liberty reserve till they stopped accepting paypal. The truth of the matter is, there is no legitimate site online where you can exchange your paypal fund for liberty reserve ( as this is preferable in Nigeria ).
I'll however give a couple of tips on converting your paypal funds to hard cash.

1. The most preferred option is funding other people's account with your paypal funds and the recipient pays into your bank account. Yhe only problem is you might not always find someone in need of paypal funds.

2. Transferring your paypal funds to a friend overseas in a paypal approved country. The person only needs to transfer the money to his/her bank account and sends it to you here in Nigeria via Western Union or MoneyGram. This requires a very high degree of trust though.

3. Investing in online businesses (HYIP or Forex sites) that allow you to pay via paypal and withdraw through liberty reserve.

4. Another option is buying stuffs online with you paypal funds.

5. The last option is using e-currency exchangers like minute exchange I mentioned earler. But like I said, they no longer accept paypal. Another exchanger I found is exchangezone.com. Exchangezone allows allows its members to exchange digital currencies directly with each other without any intermediary company. I've heard people say they are reliable but I haven't tried them.

Personally, I normally prefer using any of the first two options. It's been working for me perfectly for some years. The third option too is quite okay, just that I have a phobia for HYIPs. lol.

Getting Your Google Adsense Account Approved

Registering for Google Adsense is easy but getting your account approved by Google might be a major problem for quite a number of people. Before your account is activated and you're allowed to display google ads on your site, google first visits your site to check if it complies with their terms of service.

This is where some new bloggers fail and decide to give up. Many new bloggers often get disappointed when their registration for adsense gets declined for one reason or the other. In order to get your account approved, follow these guidelines:

1. Your site must not still be under construction

2. You must have enough pages. You will never get approved if your blog has only a couple of pages.

3. You must have a reasonable traffic.

4. Your blog must comply with Google's Terms of service. Any illegal stuff must not be featured on your site. In short, read and adhere to their terms of servise.

5. Give your blog about a month to grow before signing up for adsense.

6. After signing up and waiting for verification, make sure your blog is always accessible and in a good shape.

7. Keep making new and interesting posts while waiting.

8. Do not go and register another account for the same blog out of impatience. Sometimes it up to takes two weeks before your blog/site is approved for displaying google ads.

9. Also make sure you do not already have an approved account already. Duplicate account is not allowed.

10. Keep checking your email then hope and pray. lol

By following these guidelines, I'm pretty sure your google adsense account will be approved. In case your site gets declined, check the mail sent to you. The reason should be clearly stated, simply work on this and make all necessary adjustments then start all over again. Getting your site approved is no big deal if you can play the game the way they want!

How To Cash Google Adsense Cheque In Nigeria

It's rather unfortunate that only form of payment for adsense earnings available for Nigerians is by Cheque. Worse yet, it's a US Dollar cheque and many Nigerian bloggers find this rather inconvenient as you have to wait for like a week or two before the cheque arrives and it takes up to twenty working days before the cheque is cleared at your local bank.

It's even more annoying because the banks see this as an avenue to make money off publishers and force one to share a reasonable chunk with them. There are other payment options available in other countries like Paypal and Western Union but Nigerians are definitely stuck with the US cheque option at the moment.
Are you wondering how to cash out a US Dollar cheque here in Nigeria? It's quite easy but only takes some time. You have to first open a domiciliary account though. This is a US Dollar account you can operate at your local bank and this is the account in which your cheque will be paid into. I use Guarantee Trust Bank and it only took $100 (about 15,000) to open this account. To open a domiciliary account, you must have:

-a government issued ID card (National ID card or driver's license) or international passport
-a recent utility (probably PHCN bill)
-two referees each operating a current account in any Nigerian bank (preferably in your bank of choice for quick verification)

Like I said, I used GTB and that's all I provided. Some banks like Intercontinental Bank charde $150 while some like First Bank will ask you to open their domiciliary account with $500! The choice is definitely yours.

After opening the account, simply go to your bank and drop the cheque for processing. It takes like twenty one days and the cash is right in your account! It's as easy as that.
Let's only hope Google makes the Western Union option available for Nigeria pretty soon cuz seriously, this cheque thingy kinda takes too long.

Buy Domain With Liberty Reserve, Pay in Naira

Most, if not all domain registrars force you to pay with credit card or paypal. And since paypal is not supported in Nigeria, most people find it hard purchasing a custom domain. To make matters worse, credit/debit card offered at Nigerian banks often mess up when used for some online transactions. It's a personal experience.

However I came across a domain registrar that accepts Liberty Reserve, Alertpay and some other e-currencies apart from paypal. I've been with them for over a year now and I can boldly say their service is excellent.
If you're new to Liberty Reserve, you can read my post on how to fund your liberty reserve account here in Nigeria...then go ahead and purchase your domain in Naira!

Visit gossimer.com, sign up and you'll definitely love their service.

Purchasing a custom domain for your blog is important and I advice you to get one. It gives your blog an identity, makes it look more professinal and good for SEO. It'll be probably be around 2000 Naira per year. I'm sure that isn't too much.
